We worked alongside Sarah, half of Krafty Kidz UK, to create a clean and simple design. The girls wanted the home page to focus on the latest news and events but remain bright and colourful.
Since the website was aimed at parents of young children the bright colours in their logo stood out much better on a white background. We focused on helping them choose a template that would be bright and colourful without being garish or busy. They chose ‘beautiful’, one of the Genesis themes we have access to.
They supplied me with login details for their hosting package and domain name. I installed the WordPress framework, popped on their chosen theme and configured it to include and match their branding.
I spent an hour with Sarah teaching her how to create the static content and the blog posts that would form their latest news section. We had a few tweaks to do once the content went in but that isn’t unusual.
Sarah and her business partner are working on growing the website and refreshing their content. If you would like to know more about Krafty Kidz UK then pop and visit the website.
